Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
A: We look forward to your arrival as early as 2:00 PM for campsites and 3:00 PM for rental units. Check out time is 1:00 PM at all sites and units. Early check-in/check-out options of $5 per hour (based on availability) are available to you if you need a little extra time.
Q: What if I have to cancel my reservation?
A: Though we certainly hope you don’t, if you find you must cancel your reservation, simply give us more than 14 days’ notice prior to your scheduled arrival date and you will be funded 80% of your payment. Cancellations 4-13 days prior to your arrival will receive a 50% refund. We're sorry, but we do not offer refunds for cancellations 3 or fewer days prior to your arrival.
Q: Can we bring our pets camping with us?
A: Yes you may! Please keep your pets on a leash and clean after them. They are not to be left unattended on your site at any time. Pets are to be kept quiet. We reserve the right to limit the number of pets in the park. Absolutely no vicious breed of dog or animal. All inoculations are required prior to bringing pets into the park.
Q: Can we request a specific campsite?
A: Yes you can, through our reservation software. You have the option of paying a small "lock fee" to lock in your site selection and set up camp exactly where you want to during your stay!
Q: Can we have visitors while camping?
A: Yes! We welcome visitors at Walnut Grove. All visitors must register at the store and obtain a visitor’s pass upon arrival.
